Whoosh. What a whirl wind this week has been. I feel like it was Friday 3 days ago and Sunday 2 days ago and Monday yesterday. I guess that is what a holiday on hump day will do to your mind.
Being the big picture thinker that I am, it made me see when Christmas falls this year...a Tuesday. Then I started planning what that would look like. Then I saw the heaping pile of dishes and laundry and thought, "oh yea" ....but Christmas planning is way more important. #iknowimcrazy.
With that being said. Here is what we have been loving this week!!!
These backpacks are on sale at Pottery Barn so we may have purchased one for Fox for her upcoming birthday and the fact that she starts "school" in August.
This is where I have camped out on the computer getting amazing ideas for Fox's 1st birthday party!!
Stop by here and see new items in our shop!! We have been working through the holiday and new items will be coming up all weekend! We just upgraded to an awesome new dye brand. We love it!
Getting ready to start train for this with my bestie...going for a personal best means must start training early.
Going here tomorrow for some major wedding planning. Gu is getting married in less than a month!!!!
I'm not always a big pinner but this week...lots of it happened.
Thats are week! Hope y'all had a great 4th. So grateful to live in America.

"We often find our safest and most beautiful places where the lava once flowed."- Maria Goff I have been married to my officer for almost 9 years. For 2 years in that time he was a reserve and then we returned to full service again. The first 5 years were ugly and hard but now they are redemptive and beautiful. Still hard. But exactly where we are suppose to be. The story I never would have written for myself. An Officer's wife.

Friday FAVS
Happy Friday!!!
This week flew by. We have a busy day ahead of this, but I realized how much I like reading blogs that do some sort of favorite during the week so I decided to try it out!!
My FAVORITE new blog discovery who always makes it worth your reading pleasure!
My FAVORITE item on my summer wish list!!
My FAVORITE new etsy shop (I am a COMPLETE etsy junkie and half of Roxie's style come from there!)
My FAVORITE crafting product right now is spray pain chalkboard. I put it on everything. I am totally obsessed. If you are due for a birthday or a shower from me in the near future, chalkboard paint will most likely be included.
Rox loved it too!
My FAVORITE picture of my loves this week!! She is such a ham!
My FAVORITE teething toy is Sophie. We never leave home without her. Clearly its a hit!
Have a great weekend!!

Winter Suit
Well...I haven't updated on winter running wear yet because I went to the doctor and he post-poned my running for a bit...a loose knee cap and inflammation are putting my running on hold....HOWEVER...good news...
The January 2011 issue of Runner's arrived at my house (SIGH) and its all about cold gear!!
Check it out:

The January 2011 issue of Runner's arrived at my house (SIGH) and its all about cold gear!!
Check it out:
Check it out!! Now it shows cold gear according to the region but the truth is us Texans will wear super cold gear when its 4o degrees...we wont wait for it too be 5 degrees!!!
The good new: they list alot of these things from about $40-160...thats a lot of cash we might not all have so here are some places I go for a cheaper version that still keeps me warm!!

so this vest can be found HERE for $12.99 or if you watch the store as cheap as $5 ( I paid $5 on black friday!!!)
Also- check out their pants...pretty great

$16.50 at Old Navy!!!
Some things I wont go cheap on:
Socks- a good pair of running socks can be about $10 but its worth it because it protects your feet well.
Running GU or Chomps- yum yum and totally worth paying to fuel with these on runs over 8 miles!
I bough a camelbak recently and it was the best decision I have ever made!!
Happy RUNNING!!
